2/9/2008GREEK THANK YOU FOR CONNAUGHT
Glasgow Housing Association (GHA) tenant, Tony Pilatsikas put his newly fitted kitchen to good use to whip up the traditional Greek dish for the team who had installed a new kitchen and bathroom in his home at 56 Blythswood Court in Glasgow.
Tony was joined by Yvonne Smith in the same block who served up accompanying sandwiches, biscuits, cakes.
Alex McLean, Connaught site manager, said: “We were all fairly surprised to be given the moussaka; it’s certainly the most unusual way a customer has ever said thank you. Everyone was delighted that Tony and Yvonne had gone to so much effort and it was a real morale boost for the team.”
Connaught works in partnership with GHA to deliver its multi-million pound investment programme across the west of the city in areas including Milton, Maryhill and Drumchapel and is today handing over the successful installation of kitchens and bathrooms in 82 properties at Blythswood Court.
Tony Pilatsikas said: "Yvonne and I wanted to show our appreciation for Connaught’s hard work. The work was done quickly and the team were all great and we felt that a special thank you was in order.”
